Underwater (2020)
A crew of oceanic researchers working for a deep sea drilling company try to get to safety after a mysterious earthquake devastates their deepwater research and drilling facility located at the bottom of the Mariana Trench.
Thoughts: Essentially Underwater Alien right down to an aquatic Ripley, it does an exceptional job of building tension by making the most of its oppressively claustrophobic setting.

White God (2014)
Failing in his efforts to find his beloved owner (Zsófia Psotta), an abandoned dog eventually joins a canine revolt against their human abusers.
Thoughts: A tough watch, partly because of the dramatized abuse, but mostly because it just isn’t a very good movie. The best part is the opening card that assures us the street dogs featured were all placed in loving homes after wrap. Highly not recommended.

Watcher (2022)
A young American woman moves with her husband to Bucharest, and begins to suspect that a stranger who watches her from the apartment building across the street may be a local serial killer decapitating women.
Thoughts: (un)Surprisingly one note. Unremarkable.

I am intrigued!
“Underwater” sounds like it might be worth a watch. As for the crayfish ice cream, you may be intrigued, but I am totally repulsed. I may never eat ice cream again upon just imagining that. Ick!
Have you had any bad dreams since watching all that horror? Haven’t you found at least something disturbing enough to keep you awake for even a little bit? And not want to turn off the lights at night or go into a darkened room?
“I am intrigued!”
I’m not.
Nope. So far, so good dreams.
Only a few things have ever given me scary dreams, and not all that persistently. The Big Bad Wolf and the Jabberwock from the ’80s Alice miniseries when I was very young, Dementors from Harry Potter, the movie Event Horizon, the Weeping Angels from the Doctor Who episode “Blink”, and the unnamed never-seen creature from the Doctor Who episode “Listen”.
The worst one is the crayfish ice cream. The horror, the horror…
