THE WORLD

Our world is our galaxy, 300 years into the future.  Corporations have expanded their reach far beyond Earth, colonizing other planets to exploit their resources.  The only check on their cosmic dominance is the Galactic Authority, a policing force that ensures law and order prevail from Terra Prime to the Outer Colonies.  But an alien invasion has disrupted this two centuries long balance of power.  Dozens of extraterrestrial Black Ships have run roughshod over colonized space, attacking human outposts, replenishing their massive vessels by feeding on suns, accelerating the deaths of stars and the extinction of surrounding worlds.

Humanity has been waging a losing battle against the Black Ships.  But finally, after three long years, they possess the means to defeating the alien enemy.  And the key to victory lies with a long lost member of the former Raza crew.

Tomorrow, we check in with some of our crew and find out what they’ve been up to.

Today’s Yes/No…

So I’ve been thinking of doing a Horror Movie A Day starting next week.  What’s the best hashtag to use?  #DailyHorror?  #HorrorClub?

Who’s in?

  1. Love the world of DM. it’s a reminder that all the kumbaya of the rich dudes in space era will inevitably give way to evil space corporations.

Poprocks on fried chicken, I’m intrigued but I need a long break from heavy barbecue sauces. I’ll be making some very simple fried chicken, cheesy chick pea pasta (a little bland and kind hard to digest but a decent pasta substitute) and a kale/red cabbage slaw tonight.

And tomorrow I can make sushi with tons of avocado for lunch.

  2. THIS Sounds Awesome!

“And the key to victory lies with a long lost member of the former Raza crew.”
Is it One? Oh please let it be One. (on knees begging) Now is the perfect time to bring him back. (Alas, I think you already said it was Six. That’s cool too.)

I would do the Horror Movie a day thing. Except that is a lot of horror and I hope I don’t have to pay to watch a movie everyday. I’m retired now living on social security. (I’m saving my millions for later… or new carpet). 🙂

  3. ‘A long lost memember of the Raza crew’ – I’m with Ponytail in hoping, longing it to be One.

    1. I think the “key to victory” is with Six, hence Mikkei bothering to expend resources on helping get him out of the alien dimension, but that doesn’t mean One won’t show up.

  4. Although I’m not into horror I would be interested in your #HorrorClub. I’m assuming you’d be introducing us to some of the Asian horror flicks which would be brilliant. I’d look forward to that

PS #dailyhorror sounds too much like a daily rag. I’ve had enough of reading those things lately!

I suggest #HorrorDay ore #DailyHorror, but we dont known movi context(

Tomorrow, we check in with some of our crew and find out what they’ve been up to.
    Will wait! 🙂

  6. Daily horror? Perhaps. If it’s on Netflix or Amazon, I’m in. Or Disney, but that’s an entirely different flavor of horror. #WearTheBrownPantsDay

Poprocks Chicken? That’s a no thank you, unless someone is putting us all on an all expense paid culinary cruise with a stop in Singapore. Then sure, why not?

  7. I just noticed, isn’t it 600 years into the future (per “Isn’t That a Paradox?”)?
