It seems I spoke to soon. It certainly looked like my Snow Monkeys were certain to go down in defeat to Ivon Bartok’s team, The Running Dead. But then the Green Bay Packers took the field and, 100+ fantasy points later, my Snow Monkeys came roaring back to win the weekend!
And so while, technically, Ivon WAS in breach of the non-compete clause in his contract by virtue of the fact that he was, in fact, VERY competitive this weekend in fantasy football league play, he ultimately wasn’t competitive enough to beat me and so…
Boop bop meep!
Daniel Day-Lewis is out and Ivon is back in!
Second round call-backs today in Toronto and Vancouver, L.A. on Wednesday. We draw ever closer to our final cast. And you’ll be the first to know!
Meanwhile, Akemi seems to be making the most of her time here in Toronto…
And finding a creative outlet in feeding the dogs…
Poor Ivon. Is he going to be subject to your constant threats of replacement? You are drunk on power. LOL 😛 GO SNOW MONKEYS! Do your dogs actually eat broccoli? Cute dinner plate.
*GIRLFRIEND* soooo needs a “HOBBY”!
;-D
Oh Akemi is so cute, and I like her winter coat.(hurry spring) The pups are lucky to have her around for sure! With Ivon’s,,umm costume, are batteries included or is he trailing a very long cord..? Looking forward to hearing the cast selections. Have a great day!!
Very cool plating for the dogs!
For on, then off, then on again – what an emotional roller coaster! I can’t imagine the strain that poor Ivon is under with all the uncertainty. 😉
Akemi needs to be careful she doesn’t get hot soup poured all over her!
Android = wait for official announcement. Check!
Whoa, do the dogs even pause to appreciate the beautiful presentation? Mine inhales her cup of dry but tasty kibble in approximately 20 seconds.
Love the beautiful display Akemi made, that all looks like tasty, those are some lucky pugs. I had a cute beret made of broccoli too, but the birds kept pecking at it.
Love Akemi’s picture and the puppy food design. She should be a food stylist.
A Polar vortex headed our way. Yesterday, it was 70F and today, it’s supposed to drop down to 33F.
I hope the casting goes well. I hope whoever is lucky to get each role understands how fortunate they are to work on such an amazing show and will be in it for the long haul. Because certainly, Dark Matter is going to be around for years. 🙂
I could probably help Ivon update his costume with better electronics…
Just sayin’ 😉
Yeah, Sunday night was a good night for me, too. I was down 21 points going into that game and had Jordy Nelson, Eddie Lacy, and Martellus Bennett yet to play. I wasn’t really worried that I’d lose, but hey, this year, you never really know! Thankfully, after Jordy caught his first pass(that nice 70 yarder!), I knew I had it in the bag. Between the three of them, I ended up with about 75 points.
I’m now solidly in second with a guaranteed playoff spot. Wanna know the really interesting thing I’ve got cooking for the playoffs? The guy whose had Adrian Peterson for the last three seasons dropped him last week because nobody thought anything was going to happen with his case and he needed the roster spot to cover for bye weeks. I picked him up from the waiver wire, just for fun, and THE DAY AFTER I get him, they announce that he settles for a misdemeanor charge. Now they’re looking to get him back in as early as this week, but most likely next week. I’ve got great RB’s as it is, but if he starts coming up as the typical AP and is putting up a bunch of points, I’m going to be hard to beat in the playoffs!
Interesting times ahead for sure!
