I picked up the message this weekend, a reminder from my dentist that I had an appointment, today, at noon. At noon? That was perilously close to lunch and didn’t sound like an appointment I would have made. Still, it was too late to cancel so I went into the office, then cut out at a little after 11:00 a.m. and made the drive down to Yaletown. I arrived in record time and so, with twenty minutes to kill, I figured what better way to treat myself following a trip to the dentist than by purchasing a mess o’ handcrafted chocolates from Chocoatl. I dropped in on my buddy Themis (who gave me a sneak peek of his new chocolate line that will be premiering in about a month), picked up some tasty tidbits for the gang back at work, then headed off to my appointment. It was a follow-up cleaning and check-up. Because I apparently clench my jaw a lot, I was fitted with a night guard during my last visit. “Are you using the nightguard every night?”asked the dental hygenist. “Not every night,”I answered truthfully. In fact, the nightguard was still sitting in the trunk of my car where I tossed it after that last visit, oh, three months ago.
On the dog front, Lulu is settling in quite nicely. She rough-houses with Bubba, snuggles up at night beside her boyfriend Maximus, and is treated with general indifference by Jelly.

Answer: The Daedalus and Apollo usually remain in orbit. On the rare instances where the Daedalus has come down, it landed on a pier.
Thornyrose writes: “One question on the upcoming dvds; is Gary Jones doing any commentaries on season 3?”
Answer: Gary Jones isn’t part of the Atlantis cast so he won’t be doing any commentary on season three.

Moe Jacuzzi writes: “I happen to know that the filmmakers wish to sincerely apologize if any feelings were genuinely hurt by their irreverent sense of humor.”
Answer: Not at all. I thought the parody of Martin Gero sitting in his office answering questions was hilarious (although he only wears a suit and tie on special occasions) and hope he is big enough to laugh off a little friendly needling.
Vikitty writes: “…there’s a new Japanese restaurant no No. 3 and Ackroyd called “Ebisu”. The manager came in and now I’m tempted to go – their menu looked delicious. I think they have a location somewhere in Vancouver too… ever heard of it?”
Answer: Yup. It’s located on Bute and Robson, in the old Hooters location.

Answer: Ronon will be making three trips to Earth this upcoming season.

Answer: Yes. Last year, we ordered from a place that served up exotic burgers (elk, ostrich, bison, and kangaroo). Quote Carl Binder once we began suffering the after-effects of our meal: “I feel like there’s a wildebeast stampade in my stomach.”

Answer: We have made no plans for season 5 beyond our general thoughts for how the major story arc we have step up will develop beyond the season 4 cliffhanger.

Answer: Yup. There were plan to make McKay a father.

Answer: In my opinion and in no particular order – Aki Japanese Restaurant 745 Thurlow Street, Anton’s Pasta Bar 4260 E Hastings Street, Go Fish 1504 West 1st Ave., Zakkushi Charcoal Grill 1833 West 4th Ave., Prima Taste Restaurant 570 Robson Street, Peaceful Restaurant #110 – 532 W. Broadway. Okay, that’s six.

Answer: Be All My Sins Remember’d, Spoils of War, Quarantine, Outcast, Trio, Midway, Harmony, Kindred I, Kindred II, Finale.

Answer: Sorry, no idea.
