Movie #10: Good Boy
After moving to a rural family home with his owner, a loyal dog must protect him from supernatural forces lurking in the shadows.
My thoughts: On the plus side, the dog doesn’t die.
My rating: 3/5
Movie #11: The Ugly Stepsister E
lvira competes with her gorgeous stepsister in a realm where beauty reigns supreme, resorting to extreme measures to captivate the prince amid a ruthless competition for physical perfection.
My thoughts: Reminiscent of those weird, lurid, nonsensical European movies they used to broadcast late night on the French t.v. stations when I was growing up.
My rating: 2/5
Movie #12: The Long Walk
A group of teenage boys compete in an annual contest known as “The Long Walk,” in which they must maintain a certain walking speed or get shot.
My thoughts: A plodding, clunky dystopian misfire.
My rating: 1/5
Movie #13: Heart Eyes
When two coworkers have to survive the Heart Eyes Killer on Valentine’s Day, the two have to find out who it is.
My thoughts: Cornball disguised as clever.
My rating: 2.5/5
Movie #14: Dangerous Animals
When a free-spirited surfer is abducted by a shark-obsessed serial killer and held captive on his boat, she must escape before he carries out a ritualistic feeding to the sharks below.
My thoughts: Our serial killer delivers an inspired performance in an otherwise uninspired and predictable outing
My rating: 2.5/5

Thank you for the review. Halloween is so close! “Good Boy” seems to be the best because of the dog and of course, because no harm done to the dog! 😊
Sounds like these were a bunch of misses. Though I do note that The Long Walk has an 88% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which shows that you can’t really always trust the critics.
When will dark matter return? I will soon die of old age.
Better luck next time!
Happy Sharky Sunday 👋🏻
