Alright.  Making some steady progress on the pilot outline for Project F.  Slow.  But steady!  Also making progress on that TimEscape zoom conference.  Slow.  But steady.  Originally scheduled for this past Tuesday, it has been rescheduled to next Tuesday.  It’s been tricky nailing down a day and time because everyone is super busy, I can only assume volunteering at their local Covid-19 testing center.  But things are moving along.  Well, okay.  Not moving a lot yet.  But movement towards the conference call which will get things rolling.

Things rolling

Oddly, I’ve found that I’ve been falling asleep earlier and earlier.  And waking up, earlier and earlier.  I’m almost at the point where I can have dinner in bed, finish dessert, and just turn off the lights and drift off.

What are you respective bedtimes and wake up times?

Chill out with these photos from SGU’s “Water”…

  1. I’m definitely more in tune with the rise and set of the sun in my old age. I’m up with the sun…and by 6pm I’m yawning and tired.

  2. Hoping for the best for all your projects. I look forward to seeing what you’ve been working on.
As far as my sleep schedule goes,, I usually don’t go to bed before midnight and I am awake by 6 am.

  3. I’m sleeping earlier and waking up earlier as well. But I know why in my case. I’m reducing the amount of coffee I’m drinking during the day.

  4. “everyone is super busy”? Your industry people? Hmm … What could they be doing?

My bedtime and wake up times have been all over the place, especially when I’m not working. I have been sleeping whenever I want and waking up whenever my circadian rhythm wants me to 🙂 … in addition to some mid-day naps.

  5. Well, even moving ahead slowly is better than not moving at all. Baby steps!

I think that the time change combing with these ever shortening days has me feeling sleepy early as well. But if I went to bed when I feel like it (oh 8:00 or so!), I really would be up at 4 am, so I force myself to stay up at least until 10. Which it almost is!

  6. I’m a night-owl and am rarely in bed before midnight. If I was allowed to have a natural sleep pattern I’d probably end up going to bed a 2-3am and wake up around 10am-midday. Alas, work requirements mean that I have to conform to business hours. Pre-Covid I would wake up at 6:30am but since I’ve been working from home for the last 8 months I don’t have a commute so I get an extra hour in bed! On the weekend I usually get up around 8-8:30am. I seem to be able to function on 6-7 hours of sleep each night. I’d like to have more if I could but I just can’t fall asleep before midnight.

  7. At first I thought you meant you were doing a Zoom conference call plot for TimEscape, like shows will do a “trapped in an elevator” episode or reminiscing episode. Just a new category of being cheap.

  8. I generally get to bed about 10:30 and get up for work at 5, unless of course its Dark Matter rewatch Monday, then I’m afraid its only 4hrs sleep for me 😀

  9. Maybe Trump has been made a Ga’ould and COVID-19 is part of a plan to take over the world! You couldn’t make it up for Stargate could you?

  10. Similar timeframe. Asleep by 8 or 9 and up around 2 or 3. For no reason other than that’s what my body seems to like. Love the BTS shots. A few of them look like every single production these days.

  11. My sleep cycle is erratic but I that must be because of hormones. 🙁

I’m glad your work is progressing.

I hope today (which is Friday the 13th) is a good one.

  12. Bed time 22:30, wake up at 7:00…I am retired. Whan workind bed time was 23:00 hrs and wake up at 5:20 AM!

  13. These days I’m going to bed at 4:30 am and waking up at 6:30 am, and if I don’t have something in the morning I might be able to go back to sleep from 7:00-8:30 if I am lucky. And no napping. I just don’t know what else to do. It’s so frustrating.
