Finally – mom took a fall in the kitchen the other day and suffered two small fractures – one to her hand, another to her wrist. She slipped on the carpet she put in the kitchen to keep her dog from slipping. Ironic, no? Here’s hoping she makes a full recovery and back to making orecchiette in no time!

I’ve been watching cooking competitions on Netflix. Have you seen any of Zumbo’s Desserts? A lot of very cool techniques I’d never heard about.
I was looking ward to sleeping late but we had a line of severe storms roll through about 5 a.m. It went around us, thankfully. Prayers to everyone in it’s path!
