The tagline for jaws is my favorite because after seeing that movie, I didn’t feel safe in the bathtub. Water of any kind no longer felt safe! 🙂
In space no one can here you scream (Alien) favorite movie quote is I’m here to chew bubblegum and kick ass and I’m all outta Bubblegum(They Live 1988). Which may he a good movie to either be remade or made into a series.
I just finished Bret Baier’s latest book “Three Days at the Brink” about FDR’s summit with Churchill and Stalin. The final chapters discusses Operation Overlord and who would lead the attack. The name Patton was briefly mentioned. I am reminded of the many memorable lines of that film from “I want the name of the pilot so I can pin a metal on him” to “Rommel! I read your book!” (e.g. Infantry Attacks) to “I wish I had kissed the S.o.B.”
Those lines bring back memories. 🙂
Which Christmas movies will you and your family be watching this holiday? I always try and work in Christmas Vacation and some of the Diehard movies. I’m technically, a boomer but in my heart, I’m a Gen X or above. 😉
Did you see the video of the two cruise ships scrapping each other in Mexico? I’m not sure I can post the link but it reminded me of that scene in Galaxy Quest. Where Tommy Webber tries to drive the real ship out of port? https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=two+cruise+ships+hit&&view=detail&mid=4C31C6E726BFABAFA8C64C31C6E726BFABAFA8C6&rvsmid=164D7AA5BAEEB93CEC38164D7AA5BAEEB93CEC38&FORM=VDRVRV
