  1. I’m constantly amazed at the communicative ability that dogs have to humans and each other. No question, Lulu was having some good “conversation”.

  2. Haven’t seen so many Frenchies in one place ever! They’re all adorable, but I want that puppy in the last photo. 🙂

  3. I want the cute little baby black Frenchie wearing the one permanent white sock. They are all adorable!

  4. Sorry, I couldn’t play the videos (cellphone bandwidth issues), but at least I have Internet access! Lulu looks adorable as ever!

And Thanks to everyone for the well wishes! Today went well; we arrived safely, got the tents setup and had our first bonfire:

Tomorrow is the first full day and I hope to do some hiking, some geocaching and maybe some boating. It’s going to be a busy week!

  5. Adorable Frenchies. I’m with Ponytail, I want the black one with the white sock, but the last one is pretty cute too.

Glad you got there safely Jeff. Have fun!

  6. Aw, cute photos, but Lulu is indeed the queen, thanks for sharing!
~Have fun Jeff. (could not see the flickr photo, maybe just me)

  7. I wonder if they all realize they’re the same kind of dog? This is something I want to know.

    das

  8. Is it me or are these the most adorable, sweet and happy pups ever? My brain is reminding me of my wicked allergies while my heart is saying I want one!! The little fella with the one white paw is so cute!

I binged on Copper for the first time, a show that Netflix has been trying to foist on me for a year and that I swore I couldn’t possibly like…and ended up loving. Damn Netflix; no matter how much I complain about suggestions they really do know me. I also got sucked into Twisted, Orphan Black and Orange is the New Black, and yep, I’ve gotten very little done this summer.

  9. Love the dogs!

On another note… How sad – the passing of Cory Monteith. It looks like one of the first things he did to launch his career was SGA in The Storm. God bless his family.

  10. @Randomness

Thanks a lot for the south park link.
I’ll try to see The Amazing Race Canada, if I can get it in my neck of the woods.

  11. @Chris G.

Yeah the episode is from Season 13, specifically Episode 11 called ‘Whale Whores’ it quite frankly was one of the funniest South Park episodes made in years, okay the language was crude, as is typical of South Park but god was it funny. It covered the Sea Shepherd stuff too lol

And yup. The Amazing Race Canada premieres tonight on CTV, it’s basically a race around Canada, following the same format as the American series.

    @Anyone who loves anime.

Amazon.com has an amazing offer on at the moment for some anime shows, specifically you can get Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood on Blu Ray, the first 33 episodes for $23.49, and the other boxset for the same price too. Not to mention Seasons 1 and 2 of Black Lagoon in a DVD/Blu Ray combo pack is only $18.99.

Then there’s Hellsing Ultimate Volumes 1-4, + Volumes 5-8 boxsets for $20.49 each.

Quite frankly those offers are insane and are well worth looking it if you love anime lol. FMA Brotherhood has even reached 10th in the top sellers on Amazon.coms media section.

  12. Love doggy posts. “I’m going to bite you now.”

This weekend has just sucked in terms of news. First the prosecutors in the Trayvon Martin case really failed him. The jurors did their job and I do not fault them for reaching the verdict they did, but the prosecutors missed a lot of opportunities. And now Zimmerman’s family member who was one of the witnesses and who apparently told the information to the lawyers prior to the trial that he molested her and others. And that his family was very racist, especially his mother. I wonder now if he will be charged for this crime (the molestation of a minor; she was a minor at the time). But you know how cases like this tend to put the victim on trial. Then as I was tweeting about that, I found out about Cory Monteith. I was so sad. Not only was he in Stargate Atlantis, but he was the young Colonel Mitchell in the episode “200” of SG-1 when they did the story flash to a younger version of the SG-1 team. I love Glee. Seems that everyone on Twitter who knew him because they were friends or because they worked with him adored him. I guess they are doing the autopsy today (Monday). Not sure if they’ll have any preliminary results or not. I hope it was not because of a drug overdose (he was in rehab earlier this year). Maybe it was an aneurysm or sudden cardiac death. Not sure why some deaths affect us more than others.

On the bright side though, The Fifth Element was on Starz last night and I watched it again so I am looking forward to seeing what Cookie thinks of it.

AND I caught The Amazing Spiderman. I actually liked it better than the Tobey Maguire one. Sure–there were issues. But I really enjoyed it.

  13. @PBMom – Oh I blame the jury for sure. A guy admits to killing an unarmed person and he’s not guilty? Twisted. Did anyone else catch the irony of Kim Kardashian tweeting No Justice?

I didn’t know Cory Monteith was in Stargate. Sad

    Chev
